We list’em, you pick’em

But when the school bully harasses and beats him, Dre with the help of Mr. Han the maintenance man, who is secretly a Kung Fu Master, trains to be a Kung Fu fighter to defend himself and win a Kung Fu tournament.
What We Think: Surprisingly and perhaps even unexpectedly, this film has left a positive impression on our WM reviewers. Faizan Rashid says “it is definite a crowd-pleaser; an improbable underdog Rocky tale for children”. Shariq Madani Says “By not being too ambitious or commercialized, The Karate Kid retains an innocence that many movies of this scale lack.” We say it’ s definitely worth a watch.
Street Dance 3D

Director: Genre: Dance, Drama
Running Time: 98 min
Synopsis: In order to win the Street Dance Championships, a dance crew is forced to work with ballet dancers from the Royal Dance School in exchange for rehearsal space.
What We Think: Only if you like dance films like Stomp The Yard and Step Up, otherwise there is no reason to watch this film.

Director: Stephen Frears
Genre: Romance, Drama
Running Time: 92 min
Synopsis: The son of a courtesan retreats into a fantasy world after being forced to end his relationship with the older woman who educated him in the ways of love.
What We Think: Despite having a great cast and very respected director, the film was snubbed by both critics and audience. Nevertheless, if you are in the mood to watch Michelle Pfeiffer playing cougar by pursuing a man half her age, then go watch it, otherwise, just wait till you can see it on TV or rent it on DVD.
Undisputed 3: Redemption

Director: Isaac Florentine
Genre: Action, Martial Art
Running Time: 96 min
Synopsis: When a new prison fight tournament begins, matching the best fighters from prisons around the globe, enticing them with the promise of freedom for the winner, injured and no longer feared Russian inmate Boyka must reclaim his lost dignity and fight for his position in the tournament
What We Think: If and only if, you are a huge martial arts buff.
Furry Vengeance

Genre: Family, Comedy
Running Time: 92 min
Synopsis: A real estate developer wants to turn an Oregon forest into a housing project, only to face the most unlikely resistance from a group of wild animals who don’t want to lose their homes.
What We Think: Avoid at all cost! Unless you want to help Brendan Fraser’s honorable “career.” And if you want your kids to watch a terrific animated film, How to Train Your Dragon is still playing at some screens, or wait for Toy story 3, which is coming to Dubai cinemas in just two week.
Raavan
Starring: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Chiyaan Vikram, and Govinda
Director: Mani Ratnam
Genre: Action, Drama, Romance
Running Time: 138 min
Synopsis: A bandit leader kidnaps the wife of the policeman who killed his sister, but later falls in love with her.
What We Think: Mani Ratnam is a well-respected director, who’s given us in the past films as diverse as Dil Se, Yuva, and Guru. He re-teams with the star of his previous two films; Abhishek Bachchan who has become a really decent actor. The trailer makes it look like a beautifully shot, exciting adventure movie, which therefore give us enough reason to recommend this film.
Tetro

Director: Francis Ford Coppola
Genre: Drama, Mystery
Running Time: 127 min
Synopsis: Bennie travels to Buenos Aires to find his long-missing older brother, a once-promising writer who is now a remnant of his former self. Bennie’s discovery of his brother’s near-finished play might hold the answer to understanding their shared past and renewing their bond
What We Think: Playing, only in the Picturehouse at Dubai Mall, Coppola’s latest film Tetro, was financed independently and shot in Argentina. Critics and audience alike didn’t care much for it, but the consensus is that it is a gorgeous looking film that has problems with its narrative. We recommend it for cinephiles and the art-house crowd.
Majneen Nos Kom
Starring: Tamer Abd el menaam, and Deena
Director: Ahmed Fahmi
Genre: Comedy??
Running Time: 90 min?
Synopsis: The movie revolves around a 30 year old girl whose fiancé hasn’t taken any decision regarding their marriage due to his constant attention to politics and external/internal political affairs, so she decides to pull up a prank on him so that the marriage happens.
What We Think: A definite NO! This the scum of the barrel and the lowest of the low. Avoid it like the plague!!.
