I'm definitely going for a PS3. Mainly because it has the games that I love the most, and because it supports blu-ray.

IMO M$ did a very wrong move by not installing a HD-DVD player by default on the 360. I mean, purchasing a separate piece to play disks with that format? That screams money sucking to me.
M$ should seriously stop going after money and think of their customers a bit more.

What about Samurai Showdown? And Street Fighter?
they are both > Tekken too!

What about the Wii?
I personally find it heaps better and more promising than the 360.
Surely it isn't as good as the other two graphics wise, but it will prove to be so entertaining IMO.

true they should have included the HD DVD. but maybe they didnt want to go the way PS3 is going...with the blue ray format changing ....the manufacturing having issues to produce usable chips...etc...What i didnt like is the non HDD version. They should have just had the premium pack ...but priced it at the standard. Or maybe they're waiting for the PS3 to launch before they do that ....hmm...interesting....the battle unfolds

imo the battle would end up being between wii & ps3. Even though 360 is doing well in the US, it wouldn't be doing as well world wide.
The wii could win because of the huge fanbase, fun games, new controller *which i hate* and the cheap price.
The PS3 could do it through the blu-ray, graphics and great console features.

Still I'm worried about the price. At least $500 in the US? It'd go to +3000 here -_-;;

Ouch, PS3's gonna be pricey...I guess I'll go for a PS2 soon, and stick to it for a while.

dont doubt the 360 that much. Microsoft's one giant marketing engine.
Even if the xbox360 has a fatal BSOD bug once in a while....or eats up some dvd's by scratching them real bad....they'll make it sound like a user error and make u buy a new one!

And, the blu ray might head the same way as the memorey stick. Till date i only see Sony as the only one sticking behind (like a sore thumb) the tech. Everyone else has moved on and evolved to support most kinds of media (CF / SD).

But i still back the blu ray woo hoo

Well, Gates is able to pump as much money as he wishes into it. But would that get him more fans? I doubt that.
The console still doesn't have the games that'd make people buy it.
It's only strength point is Halo.. And most people prefer PC FPS anyway.
FF? They have JUST gotten FF11. People have already played it on PS2 and have gotten bored with it.
DOA? Yeah sex sells, but I won't buy a whole console for it.

Of course this remains my personal opinon on why I think 360 fails So no offense to xbox and M$ fans..

Yeah, finally a supporter of Halo PC version A gamepad with a few buttons and an analog stick is still too flimsy for a FPS. Sex does sell, try GTA San Andreas

GTA pwns. Period. Even without the sex.. haha
Still I wouldn't buy a console because there is a sexy game on it. There has to be other games that are worth playing.
That is why I didn't buy the Game Cube. Because there was only one game on it that I liked, which was Zelda.
I'm not into FPS at all unfortunately. Not because the genre suck, but because I SUCK at aiming and shooting.

The main reason I'm going for a PS3 is coz' of Tekken...I already have amazing titles on the PC, 'cept for Star Wars Episode 3 and Batman Begins, coz' they're only available on Console.
