Yupp!! It was a regular on the loval TV channel here when we were kids (80s). I remember the character going through 3 actors.

I don't remember much now, but I do remember some sequences, the phone-booth, the umbrella, etc.

I remember one episode where there was this huge tentacled creature in dark pool kind waters, grabbing anything near the edge of the pool. It freaked me away from the swimming pool after sunset.

I do think of picking this up again sometime, it's one of the hundreds of titles on my "too watch" list Sad

purists may balk at this, but hardcore fans will enjoy the animated webcasts on the BBC website. Broadband required...enjoy!
