Look at life and films, differently...

Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Sidhwani) and Farhan Akhtar bring us this fun movie about 6 couples going on their honeymoon to Goa on a pink bus called 'Highway Queen'... Grin

Shabana Azmi – Boman Irani: The most sensitive story of the lot is acted out extremely well by these two talented actors...  Smiley

Kay Kay Menon – Raima Sen: Embracing change and letting go of stereotypes makes this one fun to watch...

Amisha Patel – Karan Khanna: Amisha has been given the perfect role, that of a Delhi girl who talks non stop! Karan is shown as her confused husband... a real twist in a simple story...  Roll Eyes

Sandhya Mridul – Vikram Chatwal: Sandhya's past is shown effectively, as is her present... Vikram too has a story to tell, another reality which has been handled the way it should be...  Shocked

Abhay Deol – Minissha Lamba: The super (pun intended) cute perfect couple, the act out their part with flourish! Watch them in their dance sequence, which has been choreographed really well...  Cheesy

Ranveer Shorey – Dia Mirza: From the moment their story begins, it leaves you in splits... but it disappears quickly with a twist, and reappears later in typical desi style... I guess the most oft repeated story, but had to be told for the reality it represents...  Huh

Director Reema Kagti is effective as a story teller, as she handles 6 stories in a short and funny manner, keeping a balance between humour, reality and sensitivity... As seen with the recent Salaam-e-ishq debacle, it isn't easy to keep 6 stories interesting enough for the viewer...  Cool

Amongst the performances, Shabana, Boman, Kay Kay, Raima, Sandhya stand out, and the rest lend able support...

An easy and relaxing watch... Thumbs Up

3.5/5

I saw it too and thought Boman Irani, Kay Kay, Raima, Sandhya and Shabana were the highlights of the movie. It was too bad that Ranvir Shorey didnt get much scope but he looked very promising. The Abhay and Minnisha story was stupid. Overall a good effort but has a lot of loose ends and parts which were not required.

I know what scenes you talking about. I loved the Boman-Shabana and Kay Kay-Raima story. The others were just fillers. I hated Amisha Patel, if I see her I will strangle her.

hehe I know what you mean about Amisha! The moment I see her on screen I say 'Shut up'... but keeping that in mind, she got the perfect role, an annoying girl who talks non stop!

actually, sandeep's right - she did a good job portraying real life girls who are like that.. and there are quite a few of those "strangle-worthy" girls around
i thought the kaykay - raima sen story was good... probably the most realistic (except the part where she shows off some "skills")
