also i think its Background score which was Gupt gupt.. was absolutely rocking back then and is still among my favorites!  Cool

The recent MITWA from KANK is doing well with its combo of pakistani/sufi rock coupled with indian raagaas... nice lyrics... for me the song has to have rich lyrical value...

bahoon ke darmiyan was fabulous, as were all the other songs in KHAMOSHI...

Panchi nadiyan pavan ke jhokey from REFUGEE was also beautiful...

Yeh saazish hai bhoondon ki from FANAA

Ek ajnabee sa ehsaas from LUCKY

Hmmm... there are so many... but yeah these stand out  in my memory the most at this time...
