I read the original ending, and to be frank it sounded stupid. Random alien?

You're losing credibility here Mr. Anal.

Read it on wikipedia? Tsk, tsk.

When taken out of context, of course it sounds stupid. There is no grand scheme, the film never prepares you for it! It loses the brutality of its meaning.

Do yourself a favour and find out what the rest of the world already knows - Watchmen the book is profound and incomparable, in any medium.

Narrative is the poison of cinema...There’s nothing more beautiful than elusiveness in cinema.

Guess what:

Undoubtedly commissioned by DC-WB to eventually have a prequel movie, especially now that the 300 prequel is moving forward.

Jae Lee? I would buy it just for his artwork...otherwise this is ridiculous.
