The Desi version of Brangelina, or Benniffer, here's Abhiwariya!
So, they are finally engaged, ending months of speculation!
Check out Amitabh driving the couple with his trusted friend Amar Singh...

she sure has been a badluck to all her earlier suitors.. i dread something worse happening to abhishek.

hmm...
siaf ali khan looked a little too effiminate till recently... he's the offspring of a celebrity couple.. both he and soha turned out alright..
but then for every karishma, we have a kareena... for a sunny we have a bobby (deol)... and for every sanjay dutt... we've got only sanjay i''m afraid...

soha looks more manly then saif! hehe yeah but the point here isnt about the offspring of celebrity couples, its about predicting what the grown kid will look like even before the couple is married... people have way too much time on their hands to come up with stuff like this!
p.s. karisma needed a lot of work, plastic and grooming to look the way she does... kareena looks like a man! sunny looked smart, bobby is a style icon without any meaningful work... sanjay is a cool dude... abhishek looks smart as well, so does shahid kapur, lots of star kids in bollywood actually... the sen sisters, the deol sisters, etc etc, but i dont think any of them are a patch on their parents, except for abhishek and sanjay dutt...

i'm with shreq on esha deol.. not exactly lurking in the bushes with him in front of her house.. but I think she's hot AND cute as well...
Bobby has style and no looks. the same goes for abishek bachchcan... it's a friggin mystery to me how so many girls i know absolutely drool over abishek... I have a suspicion it has to do with his last name. And not to mention that he looks like he's still got his soul. (though i think ash just bought it)
Sanjay dutt isn't that great in the looks department but he has awesome screen presence
Kareena's attitude has done more damage than her mediocre looks... karishma went through phases, sort of like michael jackson
.. there was this one point where she looked like amazing (i was in school then) t'was a raw look in raja babu but polished in Dil to pagal hai...

Ash in legal trouble for marrying trees
Aishwarya Rai has not stopped making headlines since her engagement with beau Abhishek Bachchan last month. Now, a lawyer from Patna has filed a PIL against the actress for allegedly marrying a peepal tree at Benaras, a banana tree at a Bangalore temple, and deity’s idol in Ayodhya.
Aishwarya is supposedly a Manglik (astrologically Mars-bearing), which is believed to be inauspicious for her looming marriage. Reportedly, this decision was imposed on her by her to-be father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.
A lawyer called Shruti Singh has filed a PIL (public interest litigation) in the Patna High Court against Ash, as her actions only promote untouchability, an existing social evil in the country. It is in violation of Article 17 of the Constitution, which prohibits untouchability. It also violates fundamental human rights. Singh went on to saying that the rituals performed by Aishwarya, Amitabh and Abhishek would only promote superstitions and blind faith among common people. She has requested a ban on the performance of such practices at temples in Bihar including Shitla temple in Patna, Baikatpur temple near Fatuha and the Shiva temple at Deoghar. The lawyer, who is also a social activist, has also demanded a public apology from the Bachchan family for promoting superstitious acts like these.
Aishwarya, whose marriage with AB’s baby is speculated to take place anytime this month, will now have to deal with this legal muddle which directly questions the morals of Bollywood’s most popular family.

Aishwarya Rai - Almost a modern Paanchali!
How many husbands does Ash have? Here is the list…
1. A peepal tree at Benaras.
2. A banana tree at a Bangalore temple.
3. A god's idol in Ayodhya.
4. She is currently engaged to Abhishek Bachchan and hasn’t filed for a divorce from her current three husbands. In which case, once they marry, Abhishek will be her fourth husband.
Wow, thats pretty impressive for a woman, who Amitabh Bachchan believes is very "domesticated" and "a simple girl". Marry one more without divorcing Abhishek and she will set her own standard.
It's ironic that this same Abhishek showed up in Munnabhai and dared to marry his love without an endorsement from the heavens and an astrologer.
