Like most such lists, one can always disagree!

My problem here is The Descent! One of the best horrors of 2006

Is Babel THAT bad? And The Descent rocked, IMHO! XMen 3 deserves to be there...along the lines of Matrix: Revolutions, the sorta movies that should never have existed.

Ak...I just realised, we saw 3 of these movies together. For the amount of laughing we did (exluding perhaps during Babel, which I would not classify as a bad film) I look forward to the mess thats coming our way in 2007.

Yes, fizz, this year was quite volatile movie-wise.

Too bad Ebert out of commission now. I seldom agree with his *worst* movies list but it's always an interesting read nonetheless. This Jim Emerson guy is a minor nuisance.

Can we add Casino Royale to that list?

For the mother of all Top 10 lists, look no further than the excellent compliation work done by the fine people at Metacritic:

http://www.metacritic.com/film/awards/2006/toptens.shtml

You can also change the year in the above link and look at top 10 compilations for the last few years, which makes for fascinating reading in retrospect.

Harry is no critic. He's a studio plant.

Rotten Tomatoes has a new list out: Worst of the Worst.

I don't agree with most of the picks because, honestly, they are movies far worse out there, which are more deserving of that list. For example, "Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever" is the #1 bad movie of all time? Pftt! Hardly.

Shiucks, and while I viewed it, The Prestige has ads running all along the list!
