Looking for something fucking funny and might not have seen on any radars?

This show.

I am watching Season 2 now, and I seriously dont understand why no one told me about this show since 2005.

It is about four 20-somethings. Three of them are male, and own a bar, and the other is one of the guy's sister and works as the bartendor. Its really hard to compare to any show, so think of it as a younger, more relevant version of Seinfeld, which is a stupid way to describe it, but I cant think fo any other way. It has lots of taboo subjects (the first season has gays, blacks, abortion, underage drinking, etc) without actually being DARK and HIP. Its just very lighthearted fun.

The thing that just made me lol now, was the gang arguing, so this guy steps in the bar, and introduces himself as their neighbour and says he has recently moved in from Israel, as it was "getting too dangerous, you know, with everything that is happening". So, they all start mumbling, but you can hear the below two dialogues which just kills me,
"Yes, that is a tough situation you got there..."
"Yeah, with all the tsunami..."

haha, I just posted the above before I continued.

Apparently, the Israeli guy has bought their building, and is kicking them out!

"This is our bar!"
"Your bar...is on my land."

When was the last time a sitcom made such a vieled attack on Israel's policy?

This is actually Episode 2 of Season 2, and its just getting better.

After the Israeli guy leaves, one of the guys (Dennis) looks at the other guys, and goes, "What are we going to do?"

The next screen is the title of the episode.

"The Gang Goes Jihad"

hahaha

Okay, I'm going to now watch the episode, and stop commenting

This sounds corny.

Or may be its the way you described it.

I guess, it was hard to describe it, since you have to get used to the characters

All of a sudden I am hearing people compare this to Seinfeld, a show about nothing and making subtle remarks about current topics. I have this in my queue now. Mad did you finish all the seasons?

I can see the similarities, but Seinfeld Is a special show that no other show can duplicate its magic.

As for comparing the two shows, The Seinfeld gangs were selfish and selfcentered, but they were loveable and good at heart. While the gang in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are loathsome, mean, total losers, and outright bad people. I haven't watched the show regularly but I watched many many episodes, and it is an enjoyable show, although enjoyable is the wrong word to describe it.

I dont think it should be compared to Seinfeld.

I don't understand the whole "show about nothing" remarks though. Every sitcom episode, even Seinfeld, is about SOMETHING.

Mad, of course an episode of Seinfeld has to be about something, however the show itself was about nothing, I mean when it was concieved there was no grand idea or concept about the show. It is all about this group of friends and their interactions. I hope this makes sense for you.

So was a lot of sitcoms before and after Seinfeld. I mean, what was "Friends" about? Just a few friends interacting together.

I don't think they are quite the same, and I'll tell you why. In Friends there are relationships and serialized stories that you'll have to know to further appreciate the show, while in the Seinfeld format this kind of long running stories are really insignificant and they are occasionally mentioned to push the current gag and you really don't have to know the back story to appreciate the humor. So you can watch an episode from the 7th season then jump to one from the 3rd and you won't feel you are missing anything. This is unique to a few shows and Seinfeld is the poster child for this type of shows.
