Here are pics from Jerry Seinfeld's latest...

Quote
Jerry Seinfeld will be the master of his domain in the animated film Bee Movie for DreamWorks. The quirky comedian will produce, write, and star in the film set in the anthropomorphized world of bees who live a city that looks a lot like Manhattan. One thing leads to another, and yada, yada, yada.

I'm tired of animated creatures or characters looking like their voice actors.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

What I dont get is, being Jerry Seinfeld why would he want to do an animated movie? His audience was never the kids, then why now? Maybe he just wants to join the bandwagon?

nope.basically,he didn't want to get to the movies business until spielberg raped his mind and pretended that he liked the Bee movie's idea a lot (yeah right!).again, this could end up being another crappy animated movie but with the Jerry Seinfeld name all over it, it will break so many records.
