I don't agree that the numbers were easier. It's just that I know that when someone asks me about it, I'd say it is a good movie, rather than saying I recommend it. Hence, I chose "Good". Even then, I know I'd recommend it to *some* people (WMers, mainly).

I dunno man, don't ask me to justify why it is Good over Recommended. I'd say the same when you asked me "Why 3.0 and not 3.5?". These ratings, numerical or otherwise, are a gut reaction to what you feel about the movie. Rather like AK, I'd not have that rating at all, so we'd discuss the movie (or the review), rather than the rating over these last few posts.

It is hard to discuss a film when you did not see it, that is why I rely on you guys for  reviews and recommendation. I still think that the halves in numerical rating gives you a bigger room to compromise. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot to like about the new rating system, but it can be confusing.  For instance, a film can be Recommended and bad at the same time as far as I am concerned and vice versa.
