The Master (Anderson, 2012)

The entire film is shot on 65mm. PT is working with a new cinematographer, Mihai Malaimare Jr. who grandpa Francis Ford Coppola discovered and now holds in very high esteem.
The rumor in town is that PT's regular DP, Robert Elswitt, didn't want to touch it because THE MASTER is essentially an expose on Scientology (and that Elswitt could be a closet-Scientologist himself and/or didn't want to offend famous Hollywood Scientology members). The official word is he was already booked on MI:4 and BOURNE LEGACY.
(To be fair, THE MASTER has had financing problems and was rescued at the eleventh hour by the rich daughter of Oracle's founder, Larry Ellison. But one wonders if Phillip Seymour Hoffman could figure out his schedule, then why couldn't Elswitt...).
Anyway, that completes my update. Now watch this:

If it were all in the script, why make the film?

Wonderful, can't comment on the trailer because I've not seen it yet, but Greenwood is doing the score again. Let's hope its closer in tune to
There will be blood
then the cringing bells of
Norwegian Wood

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

There's no trailer, Fizz. The video I posted is a short piece on the cinematography of Mihai Milaimare Jr. (Shows candid snippets of him working with Coppola on the set of TETRO.)
And good catch, Animatedude -- I've since changed the year to 2013.
