Yi Yi (Edward Yang, 2000)

I hate it when this happens. I watched the film around two months ago and I can’t find the review I did on it. I’m not sure I even reviewed it, but I think I might have. I don’t review for money, nor do I have a huge movie review website with thousands of readers. I doubt the people that read my reviews exceed a dozen. So, I do it for myself, and if one slipped through the cracks, it shouldn’t matter.

But it does. I don’t feel entirely comfortable skipping on any un-reviewed movie. So, I come back to this film, deciding to at least leave a few comments, and begin and continue with this unrelated comments because even after a mere two months, I don’t remember much about the film. Checking the duration, the film is over 2.5 hours long, and I remember it being about the lives of a family, specially the salaried husband father and a kid, saying tings a scriptwriter would think up, when it comes to kids.

There you go. Thanks for listening.
