TEJA mein hoon, Mark idhar hai !!

The French keep getting the action/thriller genre right time and again. They seem to rehash same plot lines over and over but somehow they come out with a decent product.

Point Blank mixes a lot of thrillers and it borrows the best parts from all of them. This one is a thrilling ride from start to finish with obvious plot holes and WTF moments. But you tend to pass those coz the movie is moving at a breathtaking pace. The action scenes are shot well where you can actually see what is happening on the screen rather than Greengrass style where you feel like throwing up at the end of the movie.

The story is simple, a male nurse and his pregnant wife get caught up in a cop - millionaire - thief ring and they end up playing catch all around the streets and subways of Paris.

Give it a go if you into French thrillers like last years Tell No One.

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

I'm not sure why animatedude is even on this board, with such a question.
