Fat Girl [À ma soeur!] (Catherine Breillat, 2001)

Two sisters. The older 15 year old causes boners, while the young one is the cause of boner destructions. The young one is fat, pasty, annoying personality, and the expression of a potato. It is the younger one that can cause pedophiles to start new hobbies, while the older one has the opposite effect. So the ugly one acts wiser than her years, spouting lines regarding sex and relationship, while the older one starts a relationship with a young foreign college student. The film deals with sex and virginity and the pressure on girls and all that, and it also has a scene that turned me on. In bed, the girl refuses to have her lose her virginity, so the guy persuades her to fuck her in the ass. They didn't show this part, but I like the idea of an older man sodomizing a minor by manipulating her. These are the sort of sick fetishes that prevent me from enjoying sex.

I think I write reviews, because it works as a way of opening up. What else should we talk about?

I liked the ending. Pure absurdism. Breillat was making a point and it always fun to see the French make a point, especially French feminists!

I hated the ending. It was truely a What The Fuck moment.

Yeah, I remember reading an interview/ hearing Breillat's commentary where she talked about the WTF nature of the ending explaining the rape is the girl's sexual awakening.
