Kaytee and I were talking about this a couple of days ago. We should definitely go for some of the key films that play. I'm game as long as its a repeat of our memorable road trip last year.

The schedule is not up yet, will be available soon. I do hope that it allows us to watch Rampart & The Yellow Sea mainly. The others I have highlighted above are also ones I'd love to be able to catch, but think they'll either release here (even if for a week) or will be fairly easily available.

I recommend that you catch up with Norway's Troll Hunter, and James Marsh'sProject Nim . The first is supposedly great fun and a big hit in festival circuits, and the second will likely end up an Oscar nominee.

Very good line up. There's also We need to talk about Kevin and George Harrison documentary I would be interested in.

Would also include Troll Hunter for fun.

Also, notice that The Double, starring Richard Gere is listed as USA/UAE, but Contagion isn't (both are produced by Imagenation).

This would also explain the delay in the release of Contagion in cinemas (originally planned for a September release). Anyway, very strong selection and this should give DIFF a run for its money.

Also movies that are getting good buzz are:

Pina (3D) directed by Wim Wenders

Poliss (Polisse) directed by Maïwenn (Jury Award at Cannes)

Trollhunter is already out on DVD so I wouldnt waste my time on that. They are missing the Cannes winners Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s Once Upon A Time In Anatolia and The Dardenne Brothers’ The Kid With A Bike.

Expect one of those to certainly play at DIFF, along with Tree of Life (as hinted by its official distributor - yup, you heard it here first...).

I would think that Tree of Life would be a hot ticket in DIFF, because from what I heard it's best experienced in cinema. That being said, it is out on DVD or about to be, which will hurt its chances of being the this year's 127 Hours in DIFF.
