Great stuff, and a special nod to Gary Oldman, one of the chameleonlike actors alive. Not to mention the truly stellar cast of who’s who in Hollywood and beyond.  I was wondering what would Tomas Alfredson do after Let the Right One In, and this film looks just as exciting.

Top of waiting list, this one.

Oldman is one of my all-time favourite actors. I don't give a flying chili bean fart if he gets an Oscar or not (although by all accounts, he's long overdue). I just want him to keep working until he's in the grave.

Look at the names on this fucking poster. I love or at least like every single one of them. Even Benedict Cumberbatch, which many of you might not know, was a great discovery for me in the BBC series Sherlock, although I saw him before playing the child rapist Paul Marshall in Atonment.

Early reviews from Venice are slowly coming out, and this movie (and especially [Oldman) is expectantly getting some very high praise.

None for this year (but of course!).

If we are lucky the powers that be will select it for DIFF.

Thursday evening, Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening? I'm okay either way.
