You never know...
Django Unchained (Tarantino, 2012)

A Spaghetti Western titled
Django Unchained
is next from the maverick/genius who goes by the name of
Quentin Tarantino
.
The only thing we know about it is it will be set in slavery times with the title character being an escaped slave, mentored by an "Obi-Wan Kenobi"-esque
Christoph Waltz
.
Bring it on!

why do ppl get excited when it's announced that QT is working on a new movie then they trash him and the movie once it gets released?

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

You should ask the people who trash him and the movie. Why post the question here?

So the cast has really beefed up since we last met on this thread:
Jamie Foxx is Django
Leonardo DiCaprio is the bad guy
Christoph Waltz is the Obi Wan Kenobi type
Samuel L. Jackson
Kurt Russell
Don Johnson
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
and...
Sacha Baron Cohen aka Borat!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt
has left the project. No announcement yet on who has replaced him.

Pretty daring poster, using the directors name to sell the film.

Striking poster - I would lick anything with QT's name on it.

Wow. That's like one of those minimalist posters. Very smart of them to have it as an official poster.

the Tarantino/Dicaprio combo makes me so excited! westerns are not my cup of tea but just today i remembered how much i loved the underrated overlooked The Quick & The Dead remake that featured young Leo doing a great job! i watched that like 10 times on VHS lol
and these pix make me swear this is going to be the best western since...The Quick & The Dead!
