TEJA mein hoon, Mark idhar hai !!

One of the worst movies of the year. I can't seem to understand why people even like this load of crap. Yes by Bollywood standards this is good coz of the special effects but the storyline is still that same old gissi pitti.

First the love angle:
Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with the girl, girl not from India so goes back home, boy follows girl to her home, girl uses boy for some selfish reasons, boy finds out, he heads back home, girl stops him at the airport and tells him a secret, boy forgives girl, boy marrys girl.

Now the superhero angle:
Boy born with super powers, can run faster than horses, climb trees faster than monkeys, jump higher than any other animal, thinks father is dead, lives with grandmother, <Insert Love angle here>, finds father is alive and has been kidnapped by the villian, boy kills villian using superpowers.
Everyone stays as a happy family.

Please stay away from this movie like you would stay away from Plague or Aids.

hehe Kaytee... it wasn't THAT bad... but yes, the love angle was so bad, the setting, songs and choreography were so poor (except dil na diya) that one wondered what happened to Rakesh Roshan...

Priyanka irritated throughout the movie, the typical mandatory hindi film heroine, it could be played by anyone, and I think thats why she is getting roles these days as they demand nothing special from an actress...

The reason I liked the film (in parts) is because of Hrithik's sincere performance. He is one of the most talented and versatile actors in India and was the only one who could carry off a super hero role...
They could have developed the story in a much better manner though, given a super hero some more credit, set in logical situations, which would make the movie/story stronger...

Other than that, if you remember Koi Mil Gaya, it was on similar lines where the age old story which is beaten to death is replayed again... which is why I was expecting something different...

I know why the paying Indian public, especially in the interiors of India, liked the movie, because it was made to cater to their needs... it had everything they like, which is ofcourse different from a metro audience...

I liked Rekha in her role, and of course the older Hrithik too... N. Shah could have been much better as a villian...

Overall, the movie was ok, I expected much more from it, but I can understand why it has done well...
