I've resigned to the fact that Animatedude is *in fact* a fat dude in Nebraska, living out a double-life on the internet!

I actually would like to observe a day in the Dude's life, but I am afraid he might get the wrong idea. The one thing that would make it ok is the fact he would take one look at me and realize I am not his type  Wink anyway, we have been Facebook pals for a while now, and so far so good.

Fincher is the fucking MASTER of the opening title sequence.

The release date in India has been pushed to 10th Feb. So won't be able to catch it on my current trip (which was planned to coincide with the planned release). Will have to watch a kff screening now.

the DVD is coming out in less than a month but it only has a commentary by Fincher, so it will be useless to pick it up.and i don't think it's fair to watch this kinda film on KFF...i really want to watch it on the big screen.

Only Kaytee can help remedy the situation now (atleast for the Dubai WMers).

TEJA mein hoon, Mark idhar hai !!

I've tried at every way possible to the extent of trying to bribe the security guys at Residences but they are too scared to lose their jobs. The screenings will only work out if someone on this forum knows of someone who stays at the Residences Tower 1 - 6. I have one last hope tomorrow when I am meeting a friend who works for a real estate company and if he can help us out.

I prefer the backup plan of watching it pre-Oscars though. I just hope I don't have to travel on that date like every freaking year.

As was done for Dubai, so has been done for India.

The Indian Censor board asked for cuts, Fincher refused, and hence the movie will not be releasing in India.

yesterday i found an early copy Blu-Ray/DVD/Ultraviolet release in a DVD shop in Bahrain...i couldn't help it i got me one! and that's 11 days before the actual release date in the US wooo!

-the packaging is a very special digi-pack..it's the best packaging to a David Fincher movie since...Fight Club! Grin

-smart enough SONY included subtitles they usually don't include in their releases and this includes HINDI and ARABIC...we all know why they did this!

-i just saw the intro in glorious Blu-Ray, the picture quality is the best i have ever seen!

more on this later!
