That's fine. I'm ok with whatever the group is fine with. My reasoning for 10th Jan was to not let it linger too long. But Awards season seems a good time to do this.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

Good reminder. I've liked Baumach's past work, and GREENBERG was shot by Harris Savides; so there's no way I am going to miss it now.

If it were all in the script, why make the film?

Actually I did see it. It is a solid film, and
Ben Stellar
is really good in it, but the real shinning star is
Greta Gerwig
who plays the vulnerable Florence who somehow one of only two people who can put up with such a self-centered person. It is a film that I can recommend to you guys.

THE AMERICAN is a quiet, minimalist film that focuses on the hero's behavior and his interior state. Restrain is the keyword. Flawed in dialog, with some melodrama, but fantastic otherwise.

I'm ready. Seen as much as I could in the flow. Not in a hurry anymore to watch the rest.
