I like Greg Mottola as a director. His Superbad was funny and Adventureland was pretty darn good too. This is written by Nick Frost and Simon Pegg who have a knack for comedies and combined with Mottola this will surely be a winner.

Not as funny as I expected it to be but liked Seth Rogen as the alien. Kristen Wiig is always funny, sadly Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were misfits. Nothing great to write home about and no LOL moments either.

I guess you would enjoy this movie more if you were high on weed.

my favorite scene is the phone call with Steven Spielberg...this and Super 8 are amazing homages to Spileberg's early work.

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher
