Final List of Foreign Language Academy Submissions for next year's Oscars has been released, and hopefully will be exposed to some of the these films in DIFF. I noticed that India went with Peepli Live, a film that was recieved well be American critics, though I am not sure Indians would rank it as high, or are they? I am not sure. What say you Shariq, Sandeep, and KT??

The only reason it really got picked is because of the Khan behind it.

Interesting theory. I did listen to an interview with Aamir Khan on NPR when the film hit US screens. I must say he was selling the film quite well.

Peepli Live is a pretty decent movie but it wont do anything for the Oscar voters.
