I don't know about you guys, but I am really pumped about the prospect of Scream 4. I recently rewatched the trilogy and it held up amazingly. Sure Scream 3 didn't live up to the awesomeness that are Scream and Scream 2, but as a whole it is a satisfying trilogy, thus my excitement about the new film. Beside it's Wes Craven the master of old school horror/suspense. He doesn't direct many films lately but when he does he does a great job (Red Eye, anyone?)

Cinematical reported that both Anna Paquin and Christin Bell will appear and possibly will be killed in Scream 4 ala Drew Barrymore/Sarah Michelle Gellar/Jada Pinkett style. This piece of news gave me a stiffy right away. 15th of April 2011 can't come any sooner!

I am a fan of the very clever Wes Craven and so will support his new film!

Yup...really looking forward to this one, though a part of me is skeptical because all of the leads are pretty much washed out actors now (unlike in the 90's when they were at their prime). Still, this could go the Rambo 4/Rocky 6 way and really surprise everyone with its awesomeness.

I would not worry about Courtney Cox, who must be rolling in pool of cash from Friends, beside she has a new show called Cougar Town which is doing pretty good. Anyway, she and also David Arquette, her husband, had no cinematic career to speak of outside the Scream films. It's Neve Campbell who needed the revival badly. She had a surge in the mid to late 90's with Scream, The Craft, Wild Things, and Party of Five  but then it all went down the crapper from there.

You are right it doesn't look as good. But hopefully it's just a case of a crappy trailer for a fun movie, it is not like it is the first time to happen, right? Anyway, I am too big of a fan to skip this one, so I will be watching.

Ha ha, I actually like the trailer. It's goofy and fun and this line got me: "Virgins can die now." In horror film history classes they teach us how the 80s slasher film genre was a reaction to teenage promiscuity and that is why bad girls always died first! (opening of HALLOWEEN). Seems like SCREAM 4 will be a fun exploration of the rules of the slasher subgenre.

Ok bitches, tell me that doesn't look awesome. I mean seriously, it is fucking Scream 4, yippee!! We are in our 30's, true, but you gotta admit it the 90's rocked, and anything that would take us back to that time is most welcome. So hello Sydney!!

And why is that any of your business what we does or doesn't wank over? Go play with your Fincher doll or something, which I am sure you have. Better, go wank yourself over it.
