This looks pretty darn good to me, the location, the camera work and the colors on screen look pristine. And it has
James Franco
who I kinda like -
Pineapple Express
anyone.
Danny Boyle's
next after the Oscar winner
Slumdog Millionaire
is
127 Hours.

Its nice to know that Boyle isn't trying to impress anyone just because he's an Oscar winner now. His theme of the resilient hero who will not give up, no matter what, continues to be explored with the subject of this film - I like it too...great kinetic visuals.

My first impression: the cinematography is amazing, it looks absolutely gorgeous! I have heard of the true story and what did this guy have to do to safe himself and it really is shocking to say the least. If anyone of you have not heard the story, then you better off avoiding any spoilers. My man
Danny Boyle
will not disappointed yet again.

So you guys asked for more industry stories -- here's one:
James Franco is working on a new documentary on his work/life, and he wants editing students at my film school to edit it for him. He'll basically be hanging out with us, like a lot.
The end.
P.S. The classroom activities will also be filmed and become part of Franco's meta-documentary.

If it were all in the script, why make the film?

Be happy, Ayaa, be very happy. The Ebert gives it his stamp of approval. His review shows not just how much he admires the film, but also the real man it is based on.
