The first thing that comes to mind when you enter the cinema to watch this movie is... decent expectations... I mean, this guy made 'My Brother Nikhil'... but when you leave the movie you feel 'The plot is lost, it became too dark, the poster was misleading, the characters are poorly developed... in essence, no expectation was met by a film maker who has challenged and belittled all major veteran and new directors...
The movie starts off well, but things quickly spiral out of control, with a very bad twist making us sit up, and feel appauled... from then on, things just go down hill, not in terms of performance, but the story just gets darker and more shocking... up until the interval its ok. its the second half the movie slows down, reveals how messed up all the characters are... and the climax just proves that this movie hasnt done justice to its characters or the story... everything seems suddenly rushed...
Performance wise Sanjay Suri is excellent, and his character is developed the best... Juhi is subtle, but looks a bit old for her character... Jimmy is good in a complex role... Urmila was the annoying one, where her nostrils and neck muscles moved more than her mouth or eyes! She cried/choked throughout the movie in a weird manner, making the audience laugh and get irritated whenever she came on screen... and that was a lot of screen time...
Judging from the poster we thought this movie would explore urban relationships... they turned out to be psychotic, abusive, stalker/compulsive obsessive... which may be urban to a degree... but seemed more like urban legends than relationships! All in all, not entertaining or recommendable!

I really wanted to watch this movie after watching the numerous trailers and of course coz of the director. But I have only heard bad reviews for this one. So .kff seems best suited for it.
Here that
Pyar Ke Side Effects
is pretty good, hopefully they will release it next week.

Yeah i heard that was good too... Though a good actor like Rahul Bose paired with a non-actor like Mallika Sherawat isnt a good idea, but the story seems refreshingly different...
