Overlord II (Xbox 360, 2009)Sounds better than it is. You are an evil overlord with the ability to command your minions to do your evil bidding. But you're not really THAT evil. The biggest problem I have with the game is that it’s a bit shy about its own premise. As the Evil Overlord, you are faced with an Evil Emperor. That's lame. I'd rather it was an Evil Overlord trying to take over a nation of innocents and fighting against heroes that are trying to destroy you to save their city and loved ones.
But eh. The game system is you mainly trying to control your minions and it gets a bit frustrating at times due to the controls. And man, if you get stuck, enjoy the in-game lines repeated by the characters a dozen times. My worst was fighting a boss and having one of the characters repeat 2-3 lines every few seconds for the duration of the battle. I honestly wanted to smash the game.
Otherwise, it was still an enjoyable game!
