Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will return in this fifth film along with returning stars Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, and Sung Kang. Shoot, even Dwayne Johnson is joining in on the fun. Apparently the studio has already closed the deals with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, director Justin Lin, and producer Neal Moritz to return. In this new series Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) will act as "fugitives being pursued by legendary lawmen." Pretty much the same as most of the previous Fast and Furious films.

No love for this brainless franchise?

Here's an ad by Chrysler featuring a scene from the movie:

argh...this is a sad time for cinema.now Hollywood executives will milk each franchise to 5 sequels and they will give the FF franchise as an example.

boycott!

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

Fast Five aka Fast and Furious Rio Heist the name given for the dumb audience in the Middle East.

Fast Five is a Crank'd out Ocean Eleven, and that is a compliment coz I love both those films. We see Vin Diesel and Paul Walker doing what they do best, run and drive. To add to the mix there is Dwayne Johnson who adds to the chaos. The final sequence of them stealing the vault is absurd but I didn't really care coz the ride I was sitting in was really comfortable.

Definitely we will see a Fast Six or Fast and Furious - The Race to Monaco, if all the cast is in board then so am I.

Oh yes, this was a fantastic entertainer. Thumbs Up, for this in summers!

Vin Diesel and Dwayne THE ROCK Johnson in the same movie was good enough an excuse to want to watch another installment of this seemingly plummeting series, but this one really out-raced the previous sequels (hehe). Excellent summer fun.

Btw, seen the post-credit scene? It hinted at two more characters for the next one.

There's one after almost every movie now. There was one after Thor and one after PotC too.

I youtoobed all those scenes - none worth sitting back for.

I dunno why studios do this. It makes the work of the cleaners that much more tougher (little time between shows to clean), and makes people needlessly stay through the credits which, frankly, nobody ever reads. When we do, it's to make fun of the scrolling names.

Fun film. Was the reference to the "Sheikh of Abu Dhabi" by Tyrese (when he shows off his new car to Ludacris) snipped in the version you guys saw? I don't see why it would be -- because it's actually a compliment -- but you never know with the UAE censors!

Maybe Oz can jog my memory (we saw the film together in Sharjah), but I don't remember the line at all...

The line comes at the end, when the two black dudes are shown how the spent their $$$. Tyrese is gloating about his Lamborghini to Ludacris about his 1 of 5 only car (before Ludacris' own similar Lamborghini drives up).
