"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

Is that really important to you. I mean what people say. I though you only care for Karmode's opinion.

*yawns* it's predictable, boring and just everything you would expect from a crazy apes movie....don't waste your time the movie is not bad it just doesn't add anything new to the franchise and has no reason for it to exist other to make more money.

and in case someone wanted to buy the Planet Of The Apes ultimate DVD collection

let me know as i want to sell it for a special price...i bought it years ago and never opened it.

Alternate Ending -

"The original ending had Franco’s character being shot to death by armed humans who have chased the apes into the forest. The ape horde descends on the people and tears them to pieces, a reversal of the opening scene where Bright Eyes is captured in the jungle."

That's a better ending right there. Why do most alternate endings seem this way?
