The brand is AKG - apparently the best quality headphones you can get. Both Shariq and I have these, and they are really, very, very good. You can read more about it here:

Frankly, I've not used them as often as I thought I would have to because my wife is a real sport and has watched nearly everything I've seen recently at home. The one occasion where it was used that I can remember was when I saw
White Ribbon on my own and the quality was crisp, my only complain being that I had to remove them once over the 2 hour period because its not something I'm used to having around my ears, but otherwise, very comfortable to wear integrates seamlessly with the home theater.
