Breaking Bad returned in it is 3rd season and everybody should pay attention. It is hands down the best drama on TV right now. The third season picks up from where it left by the end of the second season, where guilt ridden Walt has to deal with the consequences of the catastrophe that he set in motion. He is the only one who knows that what happened by the end of the last season started by something he did (or didn't do precisely) and he decided to atone for that by stop making drugs and clean up his act. Meanwhile Jesse his partner is struck hard by the same events because he lost someone he loved dearly. After spending time in rehab and getting rid of his addiction he still has to deal with his demons of the guilt he feels and the lost he suffered. He decides that the only way he can coop is by embracing his role as a villain getting back in the game. The season builds up on the premise of this conflict between the two leads, but that is not the only stake. Walter is on demand for the high quality product he can cook, he wants to fix his family life but his wife has another say in the matter, two badass twin Mexican gangsters are on his trail, and his DEA officer brother in-law is hunting Walter's criminal alias Heisenberg.

The first half of the season is a slow build up that the fans of the show will savor and enjoy because we know that take of is coming, and it comes around episode six and it is an explosion of action and thrill that you won't believe. There is a siege scene that would let you on the edge of your seat and it is a real perfection as far as TV goes. I would keep pushing this show on everyone because it is that good, and it is really on of the most engaging shows in air, that is why I hope you guys can catch up with it.

The 3rd season just concluded and it is marvelous! I am not exaggerating when I say it is THE best drama on TV right now, because it is. Every little action in the show has a consequences and the blight of Walter White and his assistant Jesse Pinkman is not getting any easier as they are getting deeper and deeper in their shady business. The dynamic of their relationship is ever shifting and progressing and we are there to witness, it is just so meaty and great to watch. Walter and his now estranged wife Skyler too have a different dynamic as she evaluates her options and makes a rather radical change of mind; she too is taking a pragmatic stand now.

The 10th episode, The Fly, was directed by Brick's director Rian Johnson, and it is one crazy episode. It is visually arresting and I am glad they gave it to someone who is cinematically interesting as Johnson. This episode would have been easily botched, because the episode is almost entirely confined to one location is about the two leads and what they reveal or not to each other, the tension would keep you wondering what would happen, and it shows you how much exactly you care for these two characters, flawed as they are. It was a really great watch.

The two last episodes are different, they are action-packed, and the stakes are as high as it can get. The last shot of the episode/season is the biggest cliffhanger I have seen in long time, not because it is original, but because what would happen next is changing the rules of the game for everyone either way it turns out to be.

I am really being purposely vague because I really don't wanna spoil this great show for everyone. I will say it and stress it: you guys DON'T want to miss on Breaking Bad; it is the most fulfilling drama after The Wire ended its run., and Walter White as played by Brian Cranston and Jesse Pinkman as played by Aaron Paul are the best antihero duo you can ask for.

Atta boy! There are not that many episodes, after all it is a cable TV show. The first season which was cut short by the writers' strike was only 7 episodes, the second and third are 13 each. In case you have not noticed, I really feel strongly about this show, lol.

Yep, that one looks like a winner. You know the pilot is already out, even though the show doesn't air till August.

Breaking Bad [Season 03] (AMC, 2010)

With the third season of "Breaking Bad", I feel like something is missing from the show. The show has always been slow, but it felt like it was taking its time, to make us get involved in the unique story. A quick rush would have felt false. It needed patience to have us see Walt transform from a meek chemistry school teacher to a meth drug manufacturer. The show was always great in showing how the character that is viewed positivity by society is capable of darkness, while Jesse, the young drug dealer, was constantly seen to be out of his leagues, with the touch decisions the duo had to make.

In this season, the slowness just feels slow. It takes episodes to get Walk and Jesse into the business again, and then you never feel like it's really going anywhere. A lot of time is wasted on two Mexican cartel brothers that have come to America to get their revenge on a killed cousin in the previous season. The show constantly cuts to them acting all tough and evil, and looking mean all the time. It felt like a waste of time and effort on the shows part, specially how it really doesn't amount to anything interesting. The show does get really good in the last few episodes, but it is a shame that so many of the early episodes were not engaging enough.
