Time to talk musical boys. There is this new show on Fox called Glee. It is set in a high school and tells the story of a Glee club and the struggle to build the team which in the pilot only attracts a handful of misfits on the bottom a high school scale, their rivalry with the popular cheerleader team (cliché I know), and their fight to reach the regional finals, all this in a comedy/musical form. So if you hate when people start bursting into choreographed songs, then you really have no business watching this. But if you can appreciate a wal-to-wall musical, then you will really have so much fun with the show. Not to mention that it is actually funny and the jokes in are wacky and sometimes cruel.

All the lead players are strong and likeable. Jane Lynch who played the cougar boss in The 40 Year Old Virgin is the villain in the show and she is hilarious. Also Stephen Tobolowsky (Groundhog Day, Memento, and Heroes) plays a funny flamboyant creepy character in the show.

The show features many rendition of current and old hits and they are really good. Songs like Don't Stop Believing, Can't Fight This Feeling, Rehab, Gold Digger, All By Myself, Take a Bow, etc. I really haven't enjoyed a high school show like this since Veronica Mars went of air, I am officially hooked.

There is no way I am going to even try watching this. I absolutely hate Film Musicals so there is no way I am going to enjoy this. I get my far share of musicals with Bollywood.

You've been heaping praise for every single TV show, so I don't know what to do with your recommendations, Ayaa.

You've been heaping praise for every single TV show, so I don't know what to do with your recommendations, Ayaa.

Do with it them as you wish Mad, I can't dictate the way you judge my recommendations or whether you take them seriously at all. I only review the shows that I really like on the forum, that is why my reviews are enthusiastic about them, and believe me when I say that just like you I watch a lot of TV, and the majority of shows I watch are not reviewed by me on the forum.

I made a quick search about the TV topics that I started and I came up with 8, one of them is just a clip thread, so they really are 7 shows that I did start talking about: The Shield, The Big Bang Theory, Dollhouse, Dexter Season 4, Breaking Bad, Burn Notice, and Glee. The rest of my contributions on this board is just my opinion about shows that you guys brought up and it happens that I like.

The difference between the two of us is that you stick with shows good or bad and after you are done with them you grade them, while I check the show and if I didn't like it I usually discard them.

In short, I don't see my review pattern changing anytime soon when it come to Tube Talk unless my TV watching method changes significantly. Unlike a 90 min film, I am not ready to invest so much of my time on bad TV, that is just the way I roll.
