Sports Night (ABC, 1998-2000)

I havent seen much of this show, just seen the Pilot and absolutely loved it. If you like Aaron Sorkin style of writing and especially Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip then this should fall right in your alley.

Stars Josh Charles (In Treatment), Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) and it is about a team of sports newscasters and their life behind and front of the camera.

Once I see more of it will report back.

Oh and also there are a lot of inside sports joke which go over the head coz I am not aware of the players of NFL or MLB, so that does put you off a bit but never the less it was a pretty decent pliot.

I have heard about the show and I've wanted to check it out for long. I heard that William H. Macy, Felicity Hoffman's husband, guest stars in the show, and Bill Macy is always great. May be over the holidays when my regular shows are on hiatus I will finally get the chance to watch it.

William H Macy joins in the second season. The first season was fun in the general walk and talk way of Sorkin. The second season has gone a more serious way and that's why the show looses a bit of its charm.
