I dont know why such movies dont get their due on the big screen. Made with shoe string budgets, don't boast of huge production values and designs, no foreign locales are a few of the reasons that come to mind. But a script like this shouldnt go unnotice. Mainly with the help of seasoned actors like Kay Kay Menon, Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey, Yashpal Sharma, Manoj Pahwa and a host of others.

The story is about a bunch of odd-ball characters who are nestled in their own little worlds and certain actions leading to a chain of events that promises mirth and laughter. The story is definitely set in Mumbai which revolves around a weird don (Anupam Kher) who lends money to people and charges interest for it. Others buffons in the city are a car theif (Kay Kay Menon), a con women (Rimi Sen), businessman (Yashpal Sharma), a film producer (Manoj Pahwa) and his lead actor (Chunky Pandey). In some way or another all these characters are connected to the don. Even if I try to explain the story I will not be able to do so, so best is that you watch it for yourself and find out.

I have to give credit to the director and writer Pankaj Advani who has made a water tight script where everyone is there for a reason and all actions account for a reaction. His choice of actors is also perfect and the one who stands out is the versatile Anupam Kher.

A very good crime comedic caper, something which has not been attempted by Bollywood in a long time.

Watch this one.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
