Rani is such a sweetheart and a good actress too. She has the same level of charm as her cousin Kajol. Bengali girls are awesome!!

Im with you on this...looks horrible. Starting to hate Yash Raj for churning out stupid movies. They used to produce such classic cinema before, but now it is all crap.

Once upon a time, Yash Chopra was getting bored. Aditya had not been a good boy lately.

So they thought, why not make a film? We could make some money, thought the Chopras...

What would the story be? Old wine in new bottle? Or lots of old stories to make a stale cocktail? They chose the later, and ruined Rani's career.

Lets mix up some of our old and new classics, and cast the likes of Sherlyn Chopra and Raakhi Sawant in the hope of attracting the masses...

Punjab backdrop (how original), girl playing a boy to get into the men's cricket team, a luke warm love story and a drag to the end...

Lets mix the following ingredients:

Chak de - Cricket Style
DDLJ mimicary
HAHK scene rip off
Dances from Bunty aur Babli and Dhoom
Outfits and dance from Aaja Nachley
Veer from Veer Zaara and also India Pakistan theme
KKHH scene rip off

The brief to debut Director Anurag Singh was, here are all of our hit movie DVDs, watch them, put whatever you like in the story, do not connect it, but it should work, because it is based on our hit films. Modern Cut and Paste, plagiarising from oneself has never been more rewarding!

The result? A perfect recipe for Disaster. The only saving grace, a slimmer, hotter Rani, who tried hard to make it work in a weak script. She plays an adorable Veer and bubbly Veera, but we need much more... The past three films by them for Rani, Laaga Chunri mein Daag, Thoda Pyaar thoda magic and this one have effectively ruined her. Not even some good music to save the film like Tashan had.

Do yourself a favour and skip this one...

Dil Bole Hurry Up!

yes aaya, I thought the film was a nothing... Yash Raj has been ruining the careers of its actresses, which is pissing me off...

yes kaytee, it is borrowed from this and countless other films

I am not even bothering with Yash Raj movies anymore, I didnt watch RNBDJ or Tashan or anything before that. Their new film Pyar Impossible with Uday Chopra and Priyanka Chopra as the lead also looks lifted from Ugly Betty. They have totally lost it.

So is Rani's career over?

I think Rani should be held responsible for her own choices, look at Priyanka she is not half as good of an actress as Rani yet she is doing pretty well. she should run back to Karan Johar and let him do his magic and hook her up with Sharoukh, that is the fastest ticket back to stardome. Then she should do films with suitable leads ala Abhshik or Saif, not Shahid who looks like her baby brother.

Its like a double edged sword really. People expect only success when they work with Yash Raj, even if its not commercial its critical. While Rani has not been getting cast with other makers (except Saawariya) in the recent present, a reputed old banner has some responsibilities towards its audience, its cast and crew and itself. When Aaja Nachley bombed, Madhuri was the one that lost out. Rumour had it that Yash Chopra is going to cast her in his next directorial venture to make up for it. Priyanka is a good actress who has got lots of good breaks and some bad ones too, the average for good is higher.

Maybe there is some truth in the rumour that Rani is dating Aditya Chopra?
