I thought it might be fun to start recording our movie reviews for podcasts.

For now, I am doing this out of my bedroom, so production values are mediocre. But if the response is good, I may consider doing something more professional for future podcasts.

Week #1 (June 8, 2009) -- Pixar's Up: click here [3mins/ 2mb/ mp3].

Week #2 (June 11, 2009) -- The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3 and Blindness: click here [5mins/ 5mb/ mp3].

I love the idea! It is the natural progression for this forum. Hopefully in the future we can make it a group effort and do it together.

As for the podcast first episode itself, the production values are not bad at all, actually they are quite good. There is no echo and you sound very clear. Your voice is also cut for broadcasting, and that is a fact not just a compliment.

I hope this experiment will continue and expand in the future. I don't want you to be Mr. One Hit Wonder, lol.

I thought about WM Pod Casts before, but I thought we could do some sort of dual or more podcast, rather than one person talking. More like maybe the pod casts would be about discussing and maybe even arguing about a movie.

In regards to this, you have a good pod cast voice! very clear voice.

Wow...great idea and a welcome step in the evolution process. I'm at work at the moment, so can't really give the podcast a listen (maybe later), but I'm sure it's as a good can be expected from you ak!

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

Ak, I had no idea that the podcast was actually my review, I was expecting your opinion on it, but aside from that (welcome) surprise, it sounds both good and professional. Like someone here has said, the audio is crisp and on par with other amateur podcasts I've heard from people like us, with minimal noise. If this should become a regular feature on the site, I endorse and welcome it (but not at the cost of those other surprises you no doubt have in store...)
