Ravan
I have heard of. But with 4 of 5
RGV
movie projects heard about, there's no saying it'll get made or not.

Raavan is a Mani Ratnam Movie (Raavan in Hindi and Asokavanam in tamil). RGV, thankfully, has nothing to do with it. It is supposed to be released end of 2009. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Govinda, Prithviraj and Manisha Koirala with slightly different cast in Hindi and tamil. Music by Rahman, camera by Santosh Sivan. As usual the story is kept under wraps and speculations galore. Every report is conflicting.
Dhun on the other hand is directed by Rajiv Menon - Director of Kajol Starrer Minsara Kanavu (Sapnay in Hindi), Aishwarya, Tabu, Mammooty starrer Kandukondein Kandukondein (loosely based on Sense and Sensibility)and Cinematographer of Maniratnam's Guru and Bombay. Dhun also stars Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Excellent insight, Suresh.
Yes, I remember
Sapnay
- good music, visuals and excellent choreography is all I remember of it. I think
Prabhu Deva
choreographed it, wasn't it?
I'm glad
Raavan
is a
Mani Ratnam
movie - now it is something to really look forward to. I'll update the tite of this thread with the correct Director's name.
