For those of you who were in love with Battlestar Galactica, here is another show that might interest you. A reboot of the 1983 series. Aliens visiting earth and asking for help? Sounds fishy...

That's right -- since they are aliens, they have to be grotesque scaly creatures hiding underneath hot women bodies. Humans are smart enough to discover their true despicable nature; and men with machine guns and those in white collars will furnish mankind's first line of defense. Now. Let us pray.

Those V's feel even creepier than BSG's cylons. I hope this works. And hey, it stars the awesome Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet from Lost).

This show aired 4 episodes and then went to hiatus, and from what I saw, I'd say it is damn good. It portrait a frightening picture and more important it build an excellent paranoid world where you one can't distinguish Vs from humans. You can also draw many parallels if between the Extraterrestrial equippers and the great powers of the world, or you can just lay back and enjoy the ride and not bother reading to much on it. I must mention that the show is bleak, that being said, I can't wait for it is return next March.

I watched the first three episodes and to be honest, dont have much desire to watch any more. It does not have that many interesting characters aside from the alien lady

I would agree with you not many interesting characters but the theme of the show is what attracts me, the whole mood. I love the paranoid world and not knowing whom to trust. I hope that makes sense. Beside, Elizabeth Mitchel's detective role, although still vanilla and one dimensional, but she is just so great that she adds so much life to otherwise a lackluster and typical role.  Also the Priest is interesting.  I would say you should stick to it a little bit longer.
