So I got a Blackberry 8900, mainly for the unlimited data usage package. First day, I'm all yay.

But today I realized that I cant use certain sites, like youtube, because streaming isnt included in the unlimited package. Wtf? I callec customer service, but like always, it is full of incompetant people. Im freaked out that by mistake I'll use something I cant use and my bill will be high.

Any of you guys know how to prevent my BB from accessing sites not included in the plan? I disable WAP in one option screen but I read something about APN in google, but havent figured it out yet. Should I disable that?

Only in Dubai does unlimited not actually mean unlimited

From what i understand, certain things dont go through the BB server, so Etisalat routes it through WAP, which is charged per kb. Streaming Youtube is one of them. Do you access youtube through your bb?

The BB model that I have cant stream any flash or you tube on it. So no i have not tried. But I would have assumed that it would be included in the unlimited offer.

Is your service from Etisalat or Du?
