Man, have you heard of the movie The Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis? (IMDb link)

Check out the premise: Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates.

I hope it departs enough from The Naked Sun. It would be difficult to want to hate a Bruce Willis movie (if made well).

what's this? it looks like something Bruce Willis would do back in 1996,right after "Last Man Standing" bombed at the box office and "Planet Hollywood" gone bankrupt. Roll Eyes

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

The premise is very promising but I hate Bruce Willis's weird wig.

The book's written such - he needs to have hair! But yeah, it is weird seeing him with that wig.

As Shariqq has mentioned, if the film plays it right, the hair will be of no consequence, in fact, it may end up making a statement about human appearance in a digital world (I don't know if you guys noticed, but Willis seems to be sporting two looks, once of them being his digital self). If its anything like the book, the film could be pretty damn good.

To be correct, it is not a digital world. It is our own physical world, but inhabited by androids versions of the people they represent, while the people themselves sit at home controlling these androids remotely. So the two looks that Willis is sporting are his own self and his android version.
