Look at life and films, differently...

While this movie generated a lot of interest because of the director, an usual story and of course Akshay Kumar, it didnt do well at the box office.

I would rate this movie as an average suspense fare, a whodunnit with a twist... not the best in the genre but definitely not the worst...

Akshay has a controlled performance, with some good moments... he has an unusual gift, which he uses to solve a big situation... some decent twists and turns...

Not a bad watch

2.5/5

Spoilers ahead!
A total miscast is Ayesha Takia, thank god she has chosen not to act anymore, not a bad actress, she doesnt seem to fit the role here...

It is nice to see that Akshay Kumar is stepping out of his comfort zone and do something new. He is not a bad actor, he has the charisma needed to carry any movie, but he is really funny guy so comedy suits him. Anyway, this movie looks appealing to me so I am gonna check it out when it comes out on DVD.

Yeah, I never saw the appeal for her, I mean she is good looking, but not that pretty, just average. As for acting, she is a one note actress and it is good to hear she found another calling in life, so I don't think she is gonna be missed that much.

After seeing this piece of shit, I have two words: Plain bad! Just God awful. Not since Rudruksh have I seen worst supernatural Indian thriller. To me this film doesn’t have one single redeeming quality. It has all cons of old Bollywood, and none of the virtues.

The problem wasn't it is basic idea, it has a premise that can sustain a good story. It was the way it was built and the tricks it pulled which were just plain bad. A 5 yeas old could come up with a more interesting plot.

To say it was a work of an immature filmmaker would be an insult, after all there are young directors around the world came up with masterpieces. To say it is a work of a hack would also be insult to hacks who are paid more money to make a run of the mill flicks that can keep your attention for 90 minutes even if the film have nothing to say.
I think this film is the result of a great deal of indifference, because that how I felt by the end of it, I just don't wanna waste my energy hating this clunker. 0/5.
