His Brick was really entertaining and something we had not seen before. This looks no different. Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffalo and Rachel Weisz co star in a heist movie.

This screened at the ME Film Festival in Abu Dhabi and then went quietly under the radar. I don't know if there will be a chance for a UAE release at all.

I could swear that I have read in TEN that the Brother Blooms is to be released on the 28th of May, however it is not on their schedule anymore, neither on grand cinemas or cinestar websites. So my question to Fizz: Does your distributor friend know when would it be released in GCC?

Ayaa, we are tracking important UAE releases on the WM main site as well as our Facebook page.

I will be expanding this section in the coming weeks.

In the case of "The Brothers Bloom" I checked the main WM site and it was not there either, that is why I am asking Fizz to pull some strings and find out.

By the way AK, there is a button leads the WM main site visitors to the forum, but in the forum there is no button links to the main site. Is this on purpose or you just didn't notice?

A button to the WM main site will be added in a future upgrade of the forum's software/theme.

Ayaa, I'm not sure who the local distributor for Bloom is, but in the latest schedules I have it is now listed under TBA, which is a sign that its not a hot film - expect it to show up on screens during the non-lucrative Ramadan months or so. I get the feel you are trying to make the most of your imminent visit to Dubai next week, but unfortunately, except for UP on June 4th, there is nothing major due for release till Transformers 2 in late June. Everything else is just filler material (I could be wrong though...).

The Brothers Bloom is getting a limited release here in LA, so forget Dubai!

Can you tell? Hmmm, I wonder what made it so obvious to you, lol.

I am as geedy as a school boy waiting for summer vacation to start. This is never a good sign cause sometimes things happened at the last moment and bring you down, and that would crush me. I am hanging by a thread and I REALLY need some timeout.

The reason I brought it up is that I am pretty sure it was on the more detailed coming soon section of TEN up till last week, but not anymore. Anyway, there are plenty of big movies to keep me occupied, but I thought it would have been great to catch up with a quirky indie film in the mix, since I liked Brick so much I thought I wanna see what Rian Johnson has for us this time around.

Gloating are we AK? I remember a certain incident happened for a certain individual involving missing a certain early screening for a certain Star Trek film after pissing off a commoner and bringing out his "green with envy" alter ego. It will be a shame if this certain individual has those incidents more frequently. Karma is a bitch sometimes. Evil

ayaa...I finally have some good news for you. Got in touch with the distributor for this film and it has a tentative release date - 30th July, though like everything else in the Middle East, this is unconfirmed.
