Iron Jawed Angels (HBO, 2008)
(IMDb link)

i so wanted Hillary Clinton to win  Cry....for so many reasons, one of them is i can relate so much to why many ppl hate her.i also didn't understand why would ppl vote for someone who's unknown with no experience like Obama...don't get me wrong,Obama is smart and very good speaker but still i don't get why would ppl vote for him and not for someone who spent most of his life helping other ppl like Hillary.oh well...just like what one of my friends said,i know nothing about politics,i should stick to my dvds...

Iron Jawed Angels is an HBO movie about a group of women who did anything they could to get the right to vote back in the 1910's in the USA.it's a fascinating story, very well made, but then again it's an HBO movie,so expect a lot of cheese.

although the movie won a few awards years ago,no one gave a shit about it until last year when Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate, the movie became a hit and stayed on amazon.com top selling DVDs for weeks.

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

Sensible friends are hard to find, and you seem to have one.

So according to the poster, the only way for women to get votes is to shed their clothes? Go Feminism!

Narrative is the poison of cinema...There’s nothing more beautiful than elusiveness in cinema.
