-The Help is disney TV movie of the week.

-Tintin is the most boring most recycled junk of the year...it's not bad it's just meh. However, i look forward to the sequel,i'm sure it will be better.

-Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy,The Guard and We Need To Talk About Kevin are good movies but not great, don't believe the hype...i can assure you none of them will be on your top 50 of all time.

-Everything Must Go is meh.

-i also watched this "most certified fresh" movie atm called "Weekend" http://www.rottentomatoes.com/movie/certified_fresh.php

it claims to be the new "Before Sunrise" but it's not...it's basically like most gay movies, it's about two gay guys who discuss the same thing gay guys discuss in other movies like, gay marriage, coming out, bullying, how bad straight people are and how much they hate their lives.

It is a well written and well acted film, but it is a bit boring.

has anyone here watched "Primary Colors" with John Travolta? i bet none of you bothered with that..it's one of those movies that i have always wanted to watch but i never did for many reasons but mainly because i thought it would suck or it will be just boring....but then i KFF it this week and i'm just amazed how good it actually is.

another political movie i've always wanted to watch but never did is "The Contender", i KFFed this one too a couple days and it exceeded my expectations.

both movies are obviously flawed but they kept me engaged and sucked in the whole time, something movies nowadays rarely do...

You are writing well now. Either you've graduated, or left your system unlocked, and someone else is posting on your behalf.

On topic: Not seen either. Primary Colors just never looked interesting. The Contender didn't get much market or word-of-mouth, hence never bothered with it either.

Weird that a beloved film likeX2 has no thread in here. I just rewatch it and it still holds up greatly, aside from Bryan Singer heavy handed metaphor between gay and mutation which was hammy. Those scenes in Iceman's house with his parents where just cringeworthy. May be I should starat a threat later when I can be more coherent and less sleepy. Or may be I would wait to rewatch First Class to decide which one I actually love more.

watch The Devil's Double it's so bad it's good! Grin

it's the definition of a mixed bag.it's a fictional rubbish movie about a very fascinating true story with some great performances.it's the "first Iraqi gangster movie" and let me tell ya, it makes all Italian gangster movies look so gay!

if half of what's in the movie about Uday is true, then he was obviously another psychopath spoiled Royal's son but part of me find this very fascinating!

i mean if you look up some of the Arab Royal sons who grew up in the 70's and the 80's, you will find out these guys were real crazy motherfuckers! they killed ppl they raped girls they spent millions on drugs and they got away with it and no one dared to stop them! i would LOVE to try this for a week...i would love to live my life without a care in the world! being "nice" and "responsible" your whole life makes you very weak.

nowadays, Royal sons are so gay..half of them are on medication and the rest are partying in Europe...meh

Instead of posting a review-rant here, why not start a thread for the movie?
