[Recommendation] Random Movie Tips
«
on:
January 17, 2009, 02:00:AM »
I was about to get in my car when I heard my History of Critical Analysis teacher yell my name.
I turned around and saw him driving away in his busted Nissan, screaming:
"AK...watch
Jesus of Montreal
."
This gave me an idea: sometimes we just hear about movies from friends, movies that they think we would also like, but which they can't really talk about immediately.
So this thread can cater to such out-of-blue, unexpected outbursts. Which basically means, just
shout
a movie you think others may not have seen, whenever you feel like it.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

Knowing Ak, his dislike for animated films in general will not allow him to register with the brilliance of the film...though, I'd like to be proven wrong
