TEJA mein hoon, Mark idhar hai !!

« on: November 14, 2008, 08:41:AM »

Well Ronald Emmerich knows how to make disaster movies, and this looks right up his alley.

Plot: With the Mayan calendar ending in 2012, a large group of people must deal with natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons and glaciers.

Starring: Thandie Newton, John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Woody Harrelson, Danny Glover playing the President, Chiwetel Ejiofor

Well, Palin has hinted that she will run for President 2012. May be the Mayans were onto something afterall.

I've been using the hi-def teaser of this movie (the mother-of-all-floods!) to showcase/show-off my 42" Plasma.

10,000 BC is probably the only movie in the history of cinema that i had -1000000 interest to watch,i'm still recovering from watching the trailers over and over again.

but this looks so cool.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

I don't know what you guys are on to - I saw the trailer last night and it looks flat! Like pages of graphics trying to being a movie. This movie isn't for me. The only thing that this film has going for it is the cast.

The effects are gonna look awesome in the film, they always do in Emmerich films, regardless how stupid the story is. The biggest problem is, the trailer showed us way to much. It also great to see Cusack and Glover.

Hehe, it's like Fizz said yday...no need to watch the movie, they've already shown the best bits in the trailer.

The idea is to watch those best bits... on the BIG screen!
