It releases only in the US in Oct. Priced pretty low and built by HTC. What I like about it is that its both QWERTY (via a slider) and touchscreen. No word on ME/Asia release though. People are calling it Iphone lite, which it is in some ways since it has very limited functionality (bluetooth does not support file transfer or stereo headsets for e.g.) and there is no desktop sync (!), only sync with google applications (gmail, calendar etc).

Actually, you're right. HTC phones are not known for their aesthetics (unlike iPhone's for e.g.), though they are robust. This does look like a tacky phone with a cheap OS skin.
