Khoya Khoya Chaand does look intriqhuing. It has a similar look to parineeta in the beginning, but then begins to make me wonder if it's based on the Big B and Missus Big B (aka Amijaya?)

If you have seen Sudhir Mishra's excellent Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi then this movie will be definitely high on the must watch lists.

HKA was a movie about the Indian youth in the 60s and 70s during the naxal movements, drugs, government control, and most importantly love. This was easily one of the best movies to come out in 2003 but because of the low budget and less prominent actors it sank without a trace.

Actually, this title is more apt than the other lifted titles. This is an era movie, and fits the times and structure of Guru Dutt & Waheeda Rehman ala Kaagaz Ke Phool.

That reminds me: AK - Any news on Saheb Bibi aur Gulam?
