the special effects and music are amazing but the movie is shit.the best thing i can say about this movie is that 1) it's the most unDisney movie i have ever seen..i can't compare it to anything from Disney.2) i really liked the lead actor..i loved his calm deep voice, imagine if crazy LaBeouf was in there instead argh.

the whole neon effects are breathtaking...if this had a proper story then it could've been the best blockbuster since The Matrix but it's just all over the place.

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

Except for Garrett Hedlund as the lead, the kid just has no charisma. I am not saying he was awful, but he is just so bland.

I will pass on this one, thank you very much. It is not that I hated the film, I can say that it marginally amused me when I saw it in DIFF closing night, but I already paid AED 80 for the gala ticket, so I am not about to pay more money to support Disney recovering their investment in this piece of empty eye-candy of a film.
