When you make such compelling and raw police dramas, it is hard to keep up the same intensity through out all seasons. The starting 8 episodes of S3 lacked that intensity as the story side tracked from the whole drug world to politics and how the cops get mingled into it. But after Episode 9 things get back on track and police work starts again and the targets are again Stringer Bell, Prop Joe, Avon Barksdale, Cheese, Omar, etc...And that is where the strength of the show lies. The acting, production, story everything is still mindblowing and there is not doubt in my mind that the writers had the show written down for 5 seasons in total.

I should complete this Season in the next couple of days and then Season 4 time.

I cant help it if I am addicted.

That is a FUCKING GREAT poster.

I'm starting on this show in a few days. By the way, I noticed that Geant are stocking the box sets for seasons 1 and 2 in their DVD section with a Dhs 200something tag per box.

Im done with Season 3 and as I mentioned this season couldnt sustain what S1 and S2 started. But I still have hope because this is still one of the most original shows I have ever seen. Season 3 focuses on how even gangsters have codes of conduct and how reputation supersedes any relation you have.

I will give a 3/5 to this season, but i am hoping S4 has a different story to tell and I shall be starting that soon.
